​Dawn Martin Dickins

Dawn Martin Dickins is a drawing/installation artist living and working in Clarksville, Tennessee. With imagery rooted in metaphor, she creates work that is reactionary to how current political issues personally affect her as a woman and a mother. Though she works in various scales, she prefers the performative nature of large-scale public works that allow viewers to experience its development. Dawn earned her BFA from Georgia Southern University and her MFA from the University of South Carolina
